About Us

Maisaa Zaza is the Founder and CEO of The Future Beyond Charity. She has a passion for helping others and has dedicated her career to this mission. She has a Bachelor's in Science and practiced for more than fifteen years as a Nurse and hospital manager before coming to the United States. She overcame hardships and joined a nonprofit in Houston and worked for several years before founding The Future Beyond Charity.

In 2018, she established The Future Beyond Charity, a nonprofit organization supporting Houston's refugees, immigrants, and low-income individuals. With a professional team and various programs, she worked hard to help community members achieve their goals. To better understand and help others, Maissa completed her studies to become a professional Spritual and transformation life coach. Ms. Zaza has been awarded the most prestigious awards for her dedication and commitment,

Maisaa enjoys reading, listening to Jazz music, meditating, and spending time at the beach.

Nadine is an immigration lawyer based in Houston, Texas. After graduating South Texas College of Law, Ms. Sheta founded NS Law Firm to help people achieve their immigration goals. Her practice focuses on family-based adjustments, business immigration, and humanitarian assistance such as asylum and humanitarian parole. Ms.Sheta was born in Egypt and speaks fluent Arabic.

Christian is a dual graduate in Accounting and Finance and a Program Management, with a growing passion for mental health. Christian’s involvement grew in 2008 after the realization that profit making organizations were not a good fit. His passion started in Cameroon, Africa where he lived almost all his life. He moved to the USA as a refugee and continued putting his expertise to non profit organizations and local government. “Try to be a Rainbow in someone’s Cloud” (M.A.) Christian is constantly motivated by his passion for service and charity.

Rasha is an event manager and consultant with over a decade of experience in the hospitality and healthcare industries. She has been helping refugees and immigrants in Houston for over 9 years. Educated in the Middle East and US, Rasha received a BA in graphic design from Rutgers University When she’s not working Rasha enjoys art, music and Nutella. She’s also a proud mom of 3 energetic boys.

Mahawish is Currently working at Wolters Kluwer, ELM Solutions in Houston, Texas as a Program Manager in the Engineering Department. She has a passion for helping her community and is a mother of three. Mahawish is always on the go and loves exercising when she can get away.

Nina looks forward to sharing her 19 years of teaching including her focus on language arts and English to international students, and social skills with our new friends from around the world. Nina enjoys traveling, collecting architectural objects from old buildings, and relishes most of all outings in nature with her family.

My name is Sundus. I am  a certified Life Coach, I specialize in helping women who have moved to the US and suffering from loneliness, sadness, and anxiety. I use my own experience to empower my clients with the knowledge and tools to overcome their challenges and live a fulfilling life.”

Lama holds a Bachelor's degree in Art from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and is currently working on her master's thesis. With over 10 years of experience in market research and more than 6 years in teaching, Lama has established herself as a dedicated and knowledgeable professional in her field. Her research work has contributed to various academic publications, and her commitment to education is evident in the positive impact she has had on her students. Lama's passion for teaching drives her to continue exploring new methodologies for her students. She is a dedicated volunteer with extensive experience working with refugee communities. Over the past 6 years, Lama has committed her time and skills to supporting refugees in their resettlement process, offering assistance with language translation, cultural orientation, and navigating essential services. Her work focuses on empowering refugees to adapt to their new environments, fostering a sense of belonging and community.

With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by displaced individuals, Lama is passionate about helping refugees rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. Her work is driven by a strong belief in social justice and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need.

Heba has been dedicated to helping individuals achieve their dreams of becoming U.S. citizens for over a decade. With a Law Masters degree from the University of Houston Law Center, Heba brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for teaching at our organization.

She has successfully prepared more than 500 students for the U.S. citizenship test and interview, and possess extensive knowledge of U.S. history, government, and the naturalization process. She believes in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. Her approach focuses on interactive teaching methods ensuring that each student feels confident and prepared for their test.

Beyond the classroom, Heba participates in community outreach programs, offering free workshops and seminars on the citizenship process. She worked as a BIA accredited representative for five years, where she helped immigrants and refugees apply for citizenship.
